He lives as Vasu Rajvardhan who had been actually killed by latter step-mother, Aai. Meanwhile, Mohan is survived but lost his memory. Megha takes Mohan's adopted daughter Rimjhim to Mumbai to find her real mother as wished by Rimjhim. Aditya holds Mohan, but leaves him to take revenge. Mohan takes his family for a picnic and falls from a high cliff. After so much encounters, Megha and others forgive him. Soon, Mohan finds out that Manoj is real Aditya and brings him home. Mohan brings back Aditya, who is now mentally thrown off with help of Tilakdhari's assistant, Manoj. His grandson, Beera Singh Tilkadhari, falls in love with Navika and helps her to reunite Mohan and Megha. She finishes a political report of an illegal politician, Purushottam Singh Tilkadhari. Navika joins Mohan's newspaper and works there with hate to Mohan. This snaps ties between Megha and Mohan and they part ways. The story goes back to 2001 and narrates the mystery of Megha's son, Aditya, who gets lost in the Indore railway station. Navika is grown up and works as a news reporter. Finally, Megha recovers and the whole family is happily reunited. Later, Megha and Mohan meet with an accident and Megha is paralyzed. Mohan's mother, Indu returns and tries to ruin his marriage, but in vain. Megha and Mohan get married with help of Megha's children and in-laws. Megha initially rejects, but later accepts. He realizes that he has fallen in love with her. Eventually, Mohan develops respect for Megha, her children and her in-laws. Mohan exposes Dinanath, the real culprit behind flyover collapse. Soon, He learns that Amar is Megha's late husband and repents on finding Amar's innocence. Mohan collects evidence against Amar and produces it in front of the committee which was constituted to case of the flyover collapse. Mohan befriends with Megha's daughter, Navika and the two share a bond. Soon, Megha and Mohan meet and hate each other due to some misunderstandings. Mohan Bhatnagar, an honest guy works for a Hindi news company, Prabhat Leher.
Megha Vyas, a young widow with two children, fights for justice to her late husband, Amar Vyas, who dies in a flyover collapse, which he is blamed for taking money and using cheap quality material for construction.
